It’s a way to slow down and create something real in an increasingly digital world. It’s also how I express myself and share my connection to the magic of the underwater world, shaped by years of diving and sailing adventures, which continues to inspire so much of my work.
Hi, I’m Rosie!
I grew up in Devon, UK, along the Jurassic coastline, where the ocean was a constant part of my life. Some of my earliest memories are of my mum gutting mackerel in the kitchen and my dad bringing home crabs and lobsters as a diver, those early experiences shaped a deep connection I have to the sea and its something that continues to inspire everything I create today.
I discovered lino printing in 2020 during the lockdown, at a time when I couldn’t access the coastal and wild places that meant so much to me. It became my escape. A way to reconnect with what felt missing, and to bring those feelings back into my everyday life through creativity.
What started as a personal practice quickly grew into a small creative business. In 2021, I launched The Wild Print Studio and sold 100 prints in my first month! With a background in project management and innovation advisory roles, I’ve since grown the business into a full-time creative career, shipping thousands of prints to over 30 countries and building a life that allows me to work on my own terms.
The entire process of linocut is profoundly tactile and wonderfully meditative. From the subtle resistance of the blade carving into a fresh block of lino to that moment of lifting the paper and revealing the final print, it never loses its sense of magic.

Course Content
The course includes 8 modules with 6+ hours of content and 50+ video lessons to guide your journey step by step. You'll complete up to 7 full linocut projects, each designed to build your skills progressively.
You can pause, replay, and follow the lessons at your own pace. The course is suitable for adults & teenagers (with adult supervision). This course is not suitable for children. There are sharp tools involved even with super-vision.
It’s best to follow the modules in order, starting from the basics and moving toward more advanced techniques and projects.

Introduction to the course and the artist
In this module, we start with an introduction to me, why I created this course as well as a brief background on the craft of linoprintmaking.
Module 2
Tools Inks and Surfaces
In this module, you’ll learn about the different types of lino, explore eco-friendly options, and we’ll compare water-based and oil-based inks together. We’ll cover printmaking papers, rollers, and both burnishing and press techniques.
Module 3
Drawing and Transferring your Images to Lino
In this module, you’ll learn about the different ways to get your designs onto lino, so you can choose the method that works best for you.
Module 4
Mastering Tools and Mark Making
In this module, you’ll learn how to hold & handle your tools safely, including essential tips for always carving away from your hands to prevent accidents. We’ll explore mark-making & creating textured blocks, covering practical advice on lighting & the importance of taking regular breaks to keep your hands steady and your eyes comfortable.
Module 5
Printing Basics and Editioning
In this module, you’ll focus on bringing your carved designs to life. You’ll start by setting up your printing workspace, learning about the “working triangle” and tips for organising your layout efficiently. We’ll then approach printing your pieces using a single colour.
Module 6
Troubleshooting and Practical Tips
In this module, you'll learn about the most common printing mistakes and how to fix them, so you can approach your work with confidence. We’ll discuss how to set up a regular creative practice, keeping your skills sharp and your projects flowing.
Module 7
Creative projects and creating original designs
In this module, you'll focus on developing your own print designs. You’ll explore drawing practice and design exercises, including approaches for creating compelling images even if you don’t consider yourself confident at drawing. We’ll cover how to compose a strong design, helping you combine shapes, textures, and ideas effectively.
Module 8
How to generate a small creative income from your prints
This module is for anyone ready to take their lino prints further and explore generating a small creative income. You’ll learn practical strategies for printmaking on a budget, including affordable tools, DIY solutions, and sourcing materials sustainably and economically.
